Thorsten Dennerline (1972 - )
Born in Denmark, Thorsten Dennerline is a printmaker working in lithography, etching, digital printing, and woodcuts. He received is BFA from the University of Massachusetts and his MFA from Syracuse University. In 1996, he founded Bird Press, which serves as a vehicle for his collaborations with writers and which produces limited edition books exploring the interplay between art and language. His work has been exhibited in North America, South America, and Europe, and has been acquired by many leading museum and university collections. He is currently a faculty member at Bennington College in Vermont.
