Francis Adams Comstock (1897 - 1981)
Born in South Orange, New Jersey, Francis Adams Comstock studied at Princeton University, taking both his bachelor's and Master of Fine Arts degrees there. He joined the faculty of Princeton's recently-formed School of Architecture and remained there for four decades. A noted draftsman, calligrapher, and printmaker, Comstock is best known for his precisely detailed landscapes and arhitectural views, particularly those of the Cotswold district in England.
