Born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, Abigail Rorer is a noted wood engraver and book illustrator. She received her BFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design, and is the founder and proprietor of the Lone Oak Press in Petersham, Massachusetts. Rorer has published fine-press, limited edition books and broadsides, and has illustrated many titles for other publishers. Her work is held by many libraries and museums, and has been exhibited both here and abroad.
