Thomas Maxwell (? - 1937)
Etcher Thomas Maxwell lived and worked in Glasgow, where he maintained a studio. Little is known of his formative years or his education. He regarded the work of Whistler as the primary influence on his own etching style and technique and exhibited widely throughout Britain during his career. Several of his works are held by the Hunterian Art Gallery, Glasgow.

A beautifully inked impression in very good condition, with minor spotting in margin, soiling at edges, ink stains on the reverse.
