Endre Szász (1926 – 2003)
Painter, print maker, and award-winning book illustrator Endre Szász was born in Miercurea Ciuc, Romania, who as a young man exhibited strong artistic talent in all media. He studied at the University of Fine Art, Budapest and upon his graduation began working as an illustrator and over his career collaborated on several hundred book projects and produced numerous paintings and prints. He exhibited his work at galleries and museums around the world, and lived for a time in Toronto and in Los Angeles before returning to Hungary in 1982. He died at Mosdós, Hungary.
